Dr Priyank Chatra
DMRD, DNB, FRCR
Dr Chatra joined the team at Geraldton Radiology in 2016 after satisfying all requirements of the RANZCR, AMC, SRAC and APRA. He is also working towards his fellowship with the RANZCR.
Dr Chatra received his MBBS from J.S.S Medical College, Mysuru at the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciencs in 2003 and went on to receive his DNB from the Indian National Board of Examinations in 2010. In 2007 Dr Chatra completed his DMRD in 2007 at the M.R Medical College of Gulbarga and completed his FRCR in 2015.
From 2006 – 2011 Dr Chatra worked in multiple locations throughout India working his way from Medical Resident through to Consultant Radiologist. During 2012/13 Dr Chatra spent time in the Gulf country of Oman as a specialist Radiolologist at the Badr Al Samaa Hospitals in Muscat returning to India in 2014 to the position of Consultant Radiologist at Travancore Scans PVT LTD before moving to Life Scan at The Little Flower Hospital and Research Centre in Kerala. From 2015 he held Consultant Radiologist positions at The Valiyath Institute of Medical Sciences in Kollam and at ST Thomas Hospital Kerala. During the first half of 2016 Dr Chatra worked as a Locum Consultant Radiologist with the National Health Service in Lincolnshire and Kirkcaldy United Kingdom.
Dr Chatra has also been involved in a number of research teams as both a Principal Researcher and assistant researcher having published multiple papers. Throughout his various positions Dr Chatra has developed experience in all facets of General Radiology reporting including ultrasound, MRI, CT and Interventional Radiology.
