As a private fee billing practice every endeavour is made to limit out of pocket expenses. While Medicare continues to pay a portion of your imaging expense the amount paid for each examination has regrettably not increased for 15 years. In this time there have been significant increases in the cost of service provision and equipment leading to some examinations at Geraldton Radiology incurring an out of pocket expense.
